Hungarian Meatloaf, traditionally known as Fasírt, is a beloved Hungarian home-style dish made from seasoned ground meat, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic, paprika, and onions. Crispy on the outside and tender and flavorful inside, it is a comforting recipe that has been a staple of Hungarian family kitchens for generations.
Unlike a traditional American-style meatloaf, Hungarian fasírt is often shaped into individual patties or small oval portions and fried until beautifully golden. It is commonly served with potatoes, rice, vegetables, pickles, or a fresh salad.
